Headteacher Friday Update 28th February 2020

What an exciting and eventful week!  The children performed superbly at The Big Sing in Kendal on Wednesday evening.  It was wonderful to see so many parents there - thank you for coming along to support us.  I thought it a really lovely mix of pieces on the evening from all the schools and a number of parents have commented on it being the best one yet!  Well done everyone...you really did us proud!  We will sing one of the songs at Celebration Assembly this afternoon.  Thanks must also go to Mrs Yarrow and Mr Dunstan for all their hard work with this.

A huge congratulations also to our gymnasts who had a very busy day on Wednesday!  I'm sure you all slept well that night!  They gained third place which is a fantastic achievement.  My thanks also to Mr Dunstan for his training and also to our helpers for transporting.

Add school closure, pancake race and the book bus visit into the mix and I think everyone will be ready for the weekend!  Some of our children will be busy though, performing with me in Jesus Christ Superstar at The Priory Church on Sunday at 3:30pm.  Do come along if you are available.  It's a free event and promises to be a lot of fun!
