Headteacher Friday Update 1st October 2021

Another very busy week in school this week.  I have had the privilege of observing lessons through school and have been impressed with the children’s attention, enthusiasm and their learning.  Children were eager to share their learning with me and have obviously formed good bonds with their class teachers and teaching assistants in these first few weeks back.

We are working towards our Harvest presentation and it’s been delightful to hear the children’s singing floating through the building!  Nearer the time we will be collecting dried food stuffs for our local food bank but more on that later.

I now have a total of 32 cereal boxes, so we’re doing well towards the 66 needed!  Please keep them coming.  The only trouble is that I will soon have difficulty getting into my office!

I do hope that you all have a lovely weekend and that the weather remains fine for us.  What a deluge yesterday!
