Cross country at Sedbergh

It was great to see four of our Year 5 and 6 boys - Charlie, Harry C, Harry G and Sam - compete in the South Lakes Cross Country Trials on 20 January, having participated in the regional event at Cartmel before Christmas. The Trials took place at Sedbergh school, on some of the muddiest trails and toughest hills around! Considering the conditions and the very strong competition, all four boys ran very well. Unlike several others, they managed not to lose their shoes on the boggy course - though it took several showers to get properly clean afterwards!
