Coronation Celebrations

This week has been full of Coronation Celebrations and activities. Children throughout the school have been busy learning all about our new King. 

In classes we have been designing crowns, creating some beautiful felt work, making bunting, collage work, building and painting castles, and in preparation for our Celebration Assembly we learnt a song, 'New King' by Banji Alexander.

Children also thought about what they would do if they were King or Queen for a day.

On Tuesday afternoon, following our Celebration Assembly, we were joined  by family and friends and enjoyed an Afternoon Tea in the glorious sunsine. ???
