Class 1 Homework Challenges! 🐝 14.12.18

Another very busy week in class! Children have managed remarkably well with all of the changes in routine and we were so proud of their wonderful performance on Tuesday evening. 

Money! In maths this week we have been looking at money. Children have been selling produce from the mud kitchen farm shop and some children have been adding some coins together. Money can be a tricky concept for children. Please take the opportunity to count money and add up coins and look at the value of different coins. 

Writing rules! Mr Bennett very kindly brought in the wooden workbench today. We spent time thinking about how it was made and how it could be used. It would be great if children could come up with rules about how to use tools safely. They might even draw out a design of what they’d like to make.
