C1 Castle Head ????????

The children have had a fantastic day at Castle Head Field Studies Centre in Lindale. We are so lucky to have such an amazing facility just down the road to explore. We had a day full of science and exploring the outdoors. 

We started the day with pond dipping and we can now tell the different between a stonefly nymph and a mayfly nymph! After snack we went on a bug hunt and worked together to find and identify some bugs we find around the woods. A lovely lunch in the sunshine lead us onto an obstacle course which tested our teamwork and resilience to keep going. We had some very tired faces by the end of the afternoon and even I can't wait to go back! Well done Busy Bees, super effort and you were amazing ambassadors for the school.
