Author Jason Beresford visit

We were treated to a fabulous author visit this week! On Monday, Jason Beresford, author of popular children’s book series Fabulous Four Fish Fingers, popped in to school. His morning assembly had the children (and adults!) in stitches, as he gave a theatrical reading of the first chapter of his first book, followed by some drama as he introduced us to the main characters - using the children to play the roles. And there was even time for a sing song, when Jason whipped out his ukulele! 

After his high-energy assembly, Jason visited each class throughout the day. The children took on the role of a superhero and devised their super powers. Keep an eye out for some ‘super’ stories to follow!

To round off a truly memorable day, Jason again had the children taking part in some drama during a whole school assembly. The children were fantastic and the story, once again, had us falling off our chairs with laughter.
