Another busy day at Cartmel!

What an absolute pleasure to witness the children enjoying World Book Day today.  The staff team circulated around the classes sharing stories and Mr and Mrs Milner joined us to read their favourite tales too!  This afternoon, we all went over to the hall in our comfy clothes and pyjamas, armed with pillows, blankets and books to read and share stories with each other.  Photos can be seen on the gallery page.  Well done everyone for some fabulous related work in classes.

Our two after school clubs were very well attended today.  Cookery Club were baking scones and great fun was had by all it seemed.  Unfortunately, they weren’t quite ready for me to sample but they looked delightful!  Miss Taylor-Crozier’s room was bursting with energy, as the children listened intently to a story and then did some craft related activities.  So super to see everyone enjoying these extra curricular opportunities.
