3D shape

Date: 16th Jan 2020 @ 3:28pm

We have been consolidating our knowledge of 3D shapes this week. We have been looking at vertices, edges and faces of a 3D shape today, identifying them on each shape and then counting and recording them.
The best part of maths today I think was having a go at making them... with marshmallows! The children all started with a cube and discussed how many cocktail sticks they would need as edges and how many marshmallows as vertices. Well done Busy Bees, some fantastic constructing of 3D shapes!
