Shoe Box Appeal - Class 1

Date: 5th Nov 2018 @ 6:34pm

This afternoon we spent time thinking about the shoe box appeal in our RE lesson. We looked at a  partially completed shoe box and discussed what else we would put in them. Children were really keen to help and would like to take part. They have each gone home with a post-it note with a few of their ideas on, please take time to talk with them about their suggestions - it would be great to put together a few shoe boxes as a class. The website suggests the following: You can start looking for empty shoeboxes and shoebox bargains such as toys, games, fun items, hygiene and stationery items, warm hat/scarf/gloves/socks etc. http://www.boxesofhopecumbria.co.uk/2015-shoebox-campaign/
