HELLO YELLOW 🙌🏼

On Friday was our #helloyellow day to raise money for Young Minds, as organised by Mrs Bowden! Across school we did a range of activities and discussed the reasoning behind it. Even with class one, we chatted about how sometimes children and young people can feel quite sad, lonely, anxious and like they have no friends, so today was to raise money to try and help them feel better!
In class one we watched a video about the day, discussed why, listened to and watched a story about uniqueness/being different. In class two and three the children all had an afternoon of activities, learning and discussion, then everyone had a yummy banana dipped in chocolate. (Good job Mrs Bowden, I think these went down very well!)
This is a cause very close to me personally and it was great to raise money today and get everyone involved, even the youngest in the Busy Bees! Thank you Mrs Bowden, what a great cause and a fantastic day we had.  🐝❤️💪🏼
