Headteacher Friday Update 4th March 2022

Date: 4th Mar 2022 @ 2:26pm

Dear Parents/Carers,
It has been a somewhat strange week this week, with a number of children and staff absent due to our ongoing covid/norovirus issues. May I request all parents continue in their vigilance in looking for symptoms and keeping their children at home if testing positive/poorly. This will enable us to try to keep the entire community as safe as possible.
It’s been great to watch the children enjoying their sport with Mr Blair this afternoon. The sun has been shining and their shouts of excitement were lovely to hear! We have also had French lessons with Mrs Wattam in classes 2 and 3 and all classes really seemed to enjoy their dance with Miss Jayne yesterday.
Next week will see our gymnasts perform in the next cluster round on Wednesday. We wish them lots of luck!
Thank you to all those who have returned their Kidsafe hoomework to me. Please ensure you bring your 'trusted grown ups' sheet back into school next week. This is important work following our sessions in school this week and so I appreciate your support in helping to complete this.
Please note that some afternoons the school office is unmanned. Should you need to leave us a message, please do so and we will check these during the course of the afternoon.
Best wishes,
Mrs Battersby
