Constellations

Date: 12th Nov 2018 @ 3:21pm

Yesterday morning we continued our learning of space and looked at constellations. We had a guess what they were at first and we had ideas such as shooting stars and a dot to dot in the sky!

We looked at some of the different ones and how some constellations look like things we recognise, a plough and a dog. Tabetha also told us all about her telescope.

We then had a challenge - making our own with cocktail sticks and mini marshmallows! Some children copied one that already exists and others created their own constellation and gave it a name. I think the children enjoyed the end best, getting to eat them!
